At Noir, also spontaneous guests are welcome. In line with the walk-in motto, we provide a number of tables for walk-in guests – also without a reservation.
ENTRECÔTE, C’EST ÇA!
Noir’s concept is based on one main actor, one menu: delicious Swiss Entrecôte. Prepared either on the grill or as a tartare. We put our full attention on one dish. To be more specific, on one piece of meat – finest Entrecôte. Prepared with absolute precision and complemented by our unique «Noir Signature Sauce». To create a perfect result, we also prepare the complementing dishes with care and great attention to detail. Local ingredients, hand-made dishes and perfect preparation – all leading to one overarching goal: creating a unique menu and a truly memorable experience.
REINVENTION OF THE CLASSIC BRASSERIE
Only a few meters away from Zurich’s Bellevue, Noir delights with a modern French charm and a homely atmosphere. Two floors invite into an ambience of timeless elegance full of exciting contrasts. Classic elements made of brass, leather and wood meet specially designed furniture and selected photo art.
And our main actor, the Entrecôte, finds its special place on our uniquely crafted tables with integrated heaters.

ALBARRÁN CABRERA (*1969, Spain)
The artistic duo Angel Albarrán and Anna Cabrera have spent a lot of time in Japan, and their travels to the country have strongly influenced the aesthetic content of their work and the printing techniques they use. The question running like a thread throughout their work is how images trigger individual memories in the viewer. Depending on their social and cultural backgrounds and on their personal experience, viewers perceive images in completely different ways.
Albarrán Cabrera see their photographs as objects in their own right: they handcraft their prints using classic printing methods, such as platinum and silver halide, or invent new ones, such as pigment prints on gold leaves, create copies that are unique in themselves. The poetic and sensual nature of these prints is proof of an unrivalled craftsmanship.
